I am only giving this piece 4 stars (although I would like to give 1/2 more for the ones without nonstick, if I could) because of a couple of small quality control problems. They come in plain white boxes with virtually no information(at least mine did). I have five of their pieces, so obviously I like them. The handle is hollow and does not conduct very much heat at all-great. All the handles are long, which I prefer. Lids are very well made and fit well. The encapsulated 3 layer bottom does have a very tiny gap that "may" collect dirt over time-we'll see. The handles on the stainless pots (and the lid handles) are welded on-making them easy to clean-although a Danesco nonstick skillet of the same line I have is bolted on, not welded. I don't know about the longevity of these products but their performance from my experience has been premium. As good as any I have used. Medium heavy, sturdy, useful. IMO Paderno's "Pots For Eternity" line is a fairly good comparison in relation to these very useful pots & pans. That's the closest comparison I think, being somewhat familiar with both brands. Not exact, but close... & I like them both. I recommend these if you can get them for a price that suits you.
