These are very attractive and high quality - heavy weight and substantial.They are deep enough, and the sides are sufficiently vertical, so that they function very well as mixing bowls, but they also are attractive enough to use as serving bowls.And if memory serves, they also go in the over, the freezer, and the microwave.What more could one ask?Maybe they have a brother at home ... .
