This pan is probably an excellent deal compared to it's All-Clad competition.It is great for braising and sautéing, and it is perfect for anything that needs to go from stove to oven.I overestimated, though, how useful a stainless steel pan would be for me.For instance, I thought it would replace my non-stick skillet as my egg pan.No way!Without a lot of oil, eggs stick and then the pad is hard to clean.Scrambled eggs are a mess.
