I have tried many tongs and these are by far the most comfortable. Unlike the OXO ones I have (and NEVER use) these open just the right distance so your hand doesn't get a cramp in it. The spring is good and I still have my first pair from many years ago and they are still like new.I have both the 9 inch and 12 inch pair.
