The plastic is easily bendable, so it's not as easy to wash by hand as I'd expected.That's not a big deal though.The main purpose of this product is to keep food from splattering the microwave, and it does a good job of that.After several months without cleaning, my microwave is still very clean.The dome is large enough that I've never had trouble with food being too high or too wide for it.Product Description
