Why are there so many great 14" fry and saute pans available without lids?It's as if you never want or need to simmer something or keep it warm just because it's in a large pan--crazy!I've been to more forums than I care to mention where people are searching for a lid for a particular brand of pan, hoping to find a source, but until I cam across this great lid, the only options were those dreadful aluminum discsthat "fit" multiple pan widths, or tenting with foil.Believe me, neither the one size fits all lid or the foil are big enough!This is a heavy weight, high quality item at a reasonable price.I only wish I had bought more than one--especially because the box used was large enough for a dozen of these lids and a toaster oven to fit inside.Not a green way to pack at all!Product Description
