Review of Frieling USA A32532 Sitram Catering Saucier Pan 3.35 Quart

I checked the Sitram website for Profiserie cookware (which is the same as "Professional"; the alternate name is chosen only by retailer or distributor, and elsewhere on Amazon the same line is called Profiserie)

the picture Amazon shows is for a 'saucier pan'(evasee), Sitram numer 27672, 2.1 quart, not the 3.3 qt. sauce pan, Sitram 20041.They are the same size rim diameter, and use the same lid.

I own the next size smaller saucepan in this series, and it is sturdy, heats quickly and evenly, has a very stay-cool tubular handle (I have an electric coil range), is happy in the dishwasher, and pours easily without dripping.I wonder if the spot-welded handle will ever come off, but if it does, it has a lifetime guarantee.I have a bunch of other Sitram Profiserie pans that also work well.I hate electric coil cooktops, but these work well on mine.If i get an induction top some day, they will work well on that too (as they do for friends of mine on theirs)

If you don't want to buy copper or copper sandwich disc bottom pots, and don't need nonstick, I think this is as good as you can get in a saucepan from a functional point of view.I own original Calphalon, French tinned copper, Anolon non-stick, and Scanpan non-stick, for comparison.None (except the copper) heat quicker or more evenly, and the Sitram is more convenient.

This is a neat little filter, and I mean LITTLE!The cone-part hangs down 2.5" into the cup, and is 1.75" around at the top, tapering down to 1.5" at the bottom.Perfect for a nice little cup of tea; an 8oz cup of tea.My tea drinking is done, I guess, in "mug-size" amounts of +20oz, so this is a bit bitty for me.I bought a TF 500, now THAT'S more my size.Gonna return this mini one and get another 500!!!Great filters, you bet!

I consider this a well needed item for anyone who enjoys hosting dinner parties.I searched high and low to find this one.Am quite pleased as she has 3 brush rollers that effectively picks up table crumbs left behind between courses.

Review of Frieling USA 3850 Handle-It Glass Bottom Springform- 9-Inch

I really like this pan.The seal is secure (no leaking). With the handles, it's easy to manage, even for someone with arthritis (like me).It's also very nice to have a glass botton showing through on a serving plate instead of a metal one.This is definitely a winner.
