This is an excellent universal pan. Great for one pan meals. Easy cleanup. Uses low to medium heat for perfect results. I highly reccomend this pan to anyone who loves to cook with easy cleanup.

French made T-Fal cookware impressed me so much that I'd buy nothing but T-Fal. What the F happened??!!Made in China, light metal, cheap construction??!!This has to be fake because it's nothing like the T-Fal set my sister bought in Greece that's still in excellent shape today after heavy usage. Review of T-Fal Elegance Stainless Steel 3-Quart Covered Saucepan

Basics:
This pot is made of 18/10 stainless steel.There is an aluminum disk in the bottom to promote even heating.I have used it on a Sunpentown induction plate, and it works fine.I have also used it on a gas stove.It has an inner depth of 4" and inner diameter of just over 7.5".

What I like:
1. The stainless steel looks nice and makes me think that I am reducing my family's consumption of PFOA.I don't cook with cheese or other sticky substances, and the stainless steel will survive any type of cooking utensil.(I usually use bamboo chopsticks.)

2. Three quarts/liters is really a convenient size for small-family cooking.

3. The aluminum mass in the base seems to maintain heat better than my T-Fal anodized aluminum or brass cookware.By this I mean, when I cook dry pasta, this pot seems to return to a boil just a bit faster than the thick-walled aluminum pots.

4. It's easy to see through the glass lid.There is no moving open/close valve that I need to clean.

What I don't like:
1. Since the lid is flat, instead of domed, you need to hold it at an angle for a few seconds so that the condensation can drip back into the pot instead of onto the stove or elsewhere in the kitchen.

2. The pot lid handle can get hot.After bringing 2.5 quarts of cold water to a rolling boil, the handle (and lid) is so hot that it's uncomfortable for me to hold it for more than a couple of seconds (waiting for the condensation to drip off).(Update (September 2008): This depends on the type of stove you use and was based on the stove in one apartment.My induction cooker and the stove where I live now are both faster.)

3. After boiling water for an additional ten minutes (the time to cook dry pasta), the air-cooled pot handle becomes so warm that I cannot grip it with my bare hands.So, I'd prefer a phenolic handle.I don't use stovetop cookware in my oven, because the handles are too long to fit.

Summary:
I have used this pot three to five times each week for about four weeks.It's pretty much my favorite saucepan now.(I didn't have the money for All-Clad.)Other pots I have owned include: T-Fal 2.5-qt nonstick brass saucepan, T-Fal 4-qt nonstick anodized aluminum saucepan, T-Fal nonstick anodized aluminum skillet, Martha Stewart nonstick anodized aluminum wok, Anolon nonstick anodized aluminum chef's pan.

Review of T-Fal Performance Stainless Steel Copper Bottom 12.5 Inch Fry Pan

This is the first non-stainless steel frying pan that I have purchased.I was tired of the material flaking off the stainless steel pans, so I hopefully gave this one a try.It cooks very evenly and works well.It is easy to clean, too.The food doesn't quite slide off as easily as it does on stainless steel, but hard scrubbing wasn't required, either.I plan to get more pans like this.

My daughter loves her new T-Fal Pots and pans. This was a late Christmas present for her. They are very easy to clean and cook with. I have been cooking with my T-Fal for the past 10 years. I wouldn't use anything else. I also purchased a 10 pice set of T-Fal pots and pans for my son and his new fiance for christmas. My daughter in law to be had already bought a set of Stainless Steel pots and pans for their new home and hated them from day one. So I told her I would get her a set of T-Fal, because they are easier to cook with and so quick and easy to clean up. Thanks T-Fal for some great pots and pans.

Review of T-Fal Total Nonstick Giant Family Fry Pan, Black

Seriously, these are the best LARGE non-stick pans. The red dot lets you know when it is hot enough to cook. Remember, overheating makes any non-stick pan lose the non-stick quality, use the dot! The extra handle is needed because these are family size, but with it they are easy to lift. I just bought three more, the one I found in my local store three years ago finally got overheated (my wife) cooking sausages. Why three? I am afraid they will stop making them in a couple of years when I ruin the next one.

My T-Fal set of pots & pans didn't include this jumbo cooker, but right away I saw we needed this.It's great for big batch cooking like chili or stovetop meals.I like to cook up enough in one batch to save cooking later in the week.
This has most of the features I wanted: extra handle so you can use two hands to lift it when full, non-stick interior, even heat base, glass lid so I can see the progress of the cooking.I do wish it had the red dot in the center to tell me when the pan is properly preheated.You need to use plastic or wooden spoons or stirers with this surface.

Review of T-Fal E603SA62 Ultimate Non-Stick Cookware Set 10-pc.

I purchased a set of royal prestige that I loved the way they cooked but stainless is the worst you will ever clean.I found myself using the 1 T Fal pan that I had all the time.I then sold my barely used royal prestige and purchased the T Fal ultimate set and use them every day.After you cook with them just rinse them under the water w/ no scrubbing they look like the just came out of the dishwasher.I just wish the fry pan came with a lid.

Received our set in 4 days, and the quality of the pots and pans are vastly superior to most others in the same price catagory.Amazon photo only displayed 10 pieces, which is exactly what we received.The box indicated it was a 12 piece set, but the spoon and spachula were both missing. If you are looking for T-Fal French cookwear, this may or may not be it since the box says made in China, Hungary, France and Italy.Did not say made in France anywhere on the pans like our old one.Will be interesting to see if these last as long as the French made pans.In any case, a nice buy for under $100, especially with so much other product out in the marketplace from other manufactures that is essentially useless junk after 4 months use.

Review of T-fal Signature Non-Stick 12-piece Cookware Set, Black

We ordered this set to add on to an existing mish mash of pots and pans we've had for years. The hope was that we could toss some of the older pans out.
Strong Points: Great coating, the food literally slides off with little effort. Inclusion of a couple tools is a nice touch (though not sure it's worth paying more for, as the tools probably retail for a dollar or two). Heating distribution is even, and so it cooks effectively.
Weak Points: Small. It's hard at times to convert 8" pot into a visual, especially when the pictures show things that look bigger. A few of the pans are suitable for children, but not big enough tocook something for a single adult.
Overall, the product appears well made, but I would go to a more expensive set with a larger selection of pots and pans if I was going to use these as my primary cooking utensils.

Review of T-Fal Initiatives 10-Piece Nonstick Inside and Out

I got these as part of our wedding registry here on Amazon and with about 2 months of use I am very happy with this set.More so than any other set of pots/pans that I own.

Here are some pro's:
1 - The non-stick is truly non-stick and so easy to use.The fact that the outside is non-stick also makes cleaning up easy.
2 - The handle really does stay cool, even near the edge on gas burners
3 - The size of all 9 pieces are very convenient
4 - Easy to wash due to non-stick and dishwasher safe
5 - Thermospots assists in cooking evenly
6 - Oven safe

Great price and value.
