Review of Hamilton Beach Aluminum Nonstick Elite Sauce Pans

Wanted a pot of this size for boiling pasta that was also non-stick and dishwasher safe. My heavier (& much more expensive) stainless steel and anodized aluminum pots are saved for the real cooking. This is not very thick, and probably would not have the even heat distribution and lack of hot spots of the more expensive cookware. Still. it's perfect for what I wanted.

Review of Hamilton Beach 92019 Aluminum Nonstick Elite 11 Inch Square Griddle, Red

I bought this griddle because I only have the long one and I hate to wash it. At first I thought I was going to sacrifice space and comfortability, but I was wrong.
We eat tortillas everyday and we definitely love quesadillas and this griddle has the perfect size. It can fit up to four tortillas (corn or flour) at the same time and when making quesadillas this is the perfect size too.
I only wish the handle was red too, it's black and all my things in the kitchen are red. But I definitely rate this as an excellent product.

It really is nice for what I paid for.My only problem is the silicon on the handles doesn't cover the whole handle so my outer fingers do get burned if I don't remember to grip it right.It also seems to cook things quicker than my old pots do.I guess better heat distribution and all that.I'm really happy with it.

Review of Proctor Silex Aluminum Nonstick Sauce Pans

In the description of this product, it mentions a glass lid. No lid arrive with this pan. Had I known I would be getting a pan with no lid, I would have happily ordered a different pan from a more honest seller. Very upset about this purchase but due to them not shipping to APO addresses and me only now getting the pan after having to have it sent to a relative to send to me, it is not worth the hassle to return it. Do not buy this if you are expecting a lid!

Review of Hecuk 33036 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Fajita Pan with Wooden Base

I dislike ordering sizzling Fajitas at a restaurant when they come out not sizzleing. I decided to order two of these pans and make my own. I use one for beef and one for chicken. I prepare the peppers and onions in a seperate pan and place them in the oven to keep hot. Meanwhile, I place the iron pans in the oven, top shelf under low broil, just to get the pans nice and hot. I prepare the meat. Once I am ready, I test the pans with a drip of water to see if they sizzle. At that point, I remove the pans, use a light spray of Pam on each and place the meat, chicken, peppers and onions on each pan and serve "sizzleing" right away. They taste better then the restaurant because they are prepared with TLC. You can make up your own sauce or use the packets. I use Baja Chipotle by Lawry'sServe with all the usual fixings.

Review of Heuck 33028 Porcelain Enamel Cast Iron 10.5 Inch Chicken Fryer, Blue

Heuck deserves lauding praises not only for the very affordable price at which amazon lists this skillet, but also for the impeccable attention to detail in their manufacture of their proven cookware. Heuck stands up to the same quality, or is, as in this case, better than Le Creuset, Calphalon, etc. Enamel Cast Iron products have been around since the Industrial Revolution because of their wide versatility ("from the fire, to the fridge, to the freezer, and back to the fire"), extremely durability, and for being such a pleasure to use. Its porcelain enamel surface is inert - does not react chemically with any food, nor at any temperature. This skillet proves its worthiness with sautéing, frying, making stews and soups, brazing or slow roasting large cuts of meat, and even for baking such goodies as cornbread and coffee cake. Product ships with instructions on how best to clean and care for skillet and its different surfaces. However, it is further recommended that, if there are cooked-on food stains and particles, let soak for at least an hour in warm water, and hand clean this product with only the mildest dishwashing liquid and dishcloth or mildly abrasive sponge, but NOT in the dishwasher. The heat/water cycles of the appliance tend to eventually wear the shine of the enamel, making it opaque and diminishing the enamel's heat retention. As with any heavy cookware, such as Pyrex (another excellent product), one must also take care not to chip or break the porcelain enamel coating on the cast iron. This color choice is a deep Persian blue (not cobalt on the exterior), and is very beautiful with ivory white in the interior. You will receive many years of great use and pleasure of this product. Review of Heuck 33000 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron 10.5 Inch Chicken Fryer

I have ordered several different cast iron pans over the past few months.This one is by far the best.It comes very well seasoned and cooks excellent right from the start.Just make sure you take the time to re-season it and care for it correctly.I was a little disappointed to find out that the cover is only heat safe to 350 degrees while the pan is safe to 500 degrees but not a big deal.

If you are a Kitchen snob then read no further.If you are looking for good enameled pans then these are an excellent value.The are not Le Creuset but they are suitable for those of us that are looking for nice enameled cast iron pans.They do the job just fine and provide nice even heat distribution.
