It's exactly what I was looking for:Large capacity, tight-fitting (non-leaking) lid, and able to shake out my powdered seasonings in an even manner.I'm very satisfied with it and I'll get another if I need so in the future.Note:The shaker holes are good for powdered and small granuled seasonings.I would not use this for larger flakes or dried herb seasonings.Also, it would be nice if it came with a plastic lid cover to keep out moisture.I had one from a previous shaker that fit just fine, so I used that.

Review of Winware 10-Ounce Stainless Dredge

I purchased two of these dredges to keep salt and pepper handy on my stovetop.I am very happy with that decision, and am planning to buy several more for sugar, seasoned salts, and other spices.This item is solid and well-manufactured; the tops screw on easily and fit snuggly.It is important to note that these dredges are made of POLISHED stainless steel and are shinier (and more attractive) that the photo suggests.I only gave this item four stars because Winware does not seem to make interchangeable tops with larger holes for their stainless steel dredges like they do for their plastic dredges.I would like to be able to use the stainless dredges for Splenda, dried parsley, etc.

Bought to use in home cheese makung where exact temp. is a must. The thick walls and sturdy construction works great. Unit will hold 4 gals of milk if you fill to an inch of the top which I have.
