Review of Wearever Platinum Hard Anodized 10-pc. Cookset - Black

I researched the anodized aluminum till blue in the face. Did not have a lot to spend but figured anything was better then my worn t-fal. I have been so pleased with this. It's not HEAVY - nor light. Just right especially with my arthritis! I am a former chef and cook in a major way 6 nights a week. This cooks lovely - cleans up like a breeze and has ended my hate-affair with my three year old smooth cooktop which I could never get to heat up well with the t-fal. Now boiling actually happens fast again and I can stir fry!! Happy Happy!!!

Review of WearEver Freedom Cookware 8-Piece Cookware Set

I bought this set when I first moved here because I needed something to cook with right away; I had expected to replace it soon afterward but it's lasted a year and a half now and seems to have plenty of life left!There are good and bad points to the set which I detail below, but overall this is a great set of quality cookware for basic cooking.

The good: first off, the glass lids are great - being able to see what you're cooking is a big plus for an amateur like me.Next, the non-stick interior is really metal-tolerant as advertised - I and my friends have used a variety of implements on the surface without damage, though for the most part I now use polycarbonate cooking tools or chopsticks.Third, the pots are flat where they should be, sitting stably on my electric coils at all angles. They're also super-easy to clean; I've never had to use anything stronger than a sponge on the non-stick parts, and the ceramic glaze on the outside is far easier to clean than exposed aluminum/copper/stainless steel.Finally, a big bonus is that the lids for the pots fit perfectly, and not only on the pots they come with, but also on the frying pans, which is great for simmmering things or keeping them warm or even preventing splattering (my girlfriend discovered this bit of cleverness :).

The bad:the large frying pan did have a small notch in its non-stick coating; however, it has not grown/flaked nor has the material underneath rusted.I'm not worried about it.Also, over time, the screws holding the handles to the pot bodies (on the outside of the pot) have become a bit rusty, but there is *absolutely no way* this could ever come in contact with the cooking surface of the pots.If I was more careful about drying, this would probably never have happened.Finally, it would have been nice if the lids had steam-release valves, but I've never found a set that has both steam-release and see-through lids that fit both the pots and the pans.I guess you can only ask for so much!

The recommendation: buy it, use it, love it, you won't regret it.

Review of Wearever Admiration Hard-Anodized 8-Piece Cookware set

I absolutely love this cookware!It is very easy to cook with and nothing sticks to it!When you're cooking you can use any type of utensil and it doesn't scratch the surface.Cleaning is a breeze too!Washing them by hand takes no time at all cause once they're in the hot water for a minute or two, they clean super easy.Even if you have stuck on foods, they easily come off in washing.These are the best cookware I've ever had and I will continue to get hard-anodized cookware.They're not too expensive either; a great addition to a newlywed's kitchen, like myself.Wearever's cookware is just as good as those expensive brands, but much less expensive.I recommend this cookware set!You'll love it!

Purchased this porcelain coated non-stick cookware amid reports that other types of non-stick cookware might release carcinogens when overheated.This set is outstanding for the price.Each piece is designed to heat evenly and the porcelain coating is smooth and impossibly easy to clean.The lids included are sturdy and the whole set is asthetically pleasing in its gloss black finish.The plastic cookware included is pretty basic and unimpressive, but that's not the reason anyone would buy this set in the first place.I'd recommend this set to any home chef.Very happy with my purchase.

I bought this product expecting something of lesser quality for what I paid....I was way wrong. My only regret was that I did not purchase more sets to give as gifts. The glass lids are great, the color is very modern and attractive. The quality of the silicone handles is a plus. Great Deal!

Review of WearEver Stainless Steel Cook & Strain 10 Piece Cookware Set

I received this set as a gift three years ago, and I really love the set.At the time, I was not much of a cook and just out of college, but I am now married and we cook all the time with these pans.They are super sturdy and feel hefty without too much weight.I appreciate the "strain" feature and use it regularly.
The company also stands behind its products and responds to customers via email.I was missing one of the lids to the pans after a move.I contacted them about it, and they helped me to replace the piece.It was great service on their part, and although I know these pans are going to last me for years and years, I will probably buy WearEver again.
