I had been looking for a dispenser for a while for my mounting cereal shelf in the kitchen.I have a mostly stainless steel kitchen and I didn't want the piling cereal boxes to be exposd anymore, I was really looking for a more uniformed look.I researched my options and the price I found on Amazon was really the best.I knew I wanted multiple dispensers, but oddly enough it was more cost effective to buy multiple single dispensers than a couple of the double ones that are available.No matter, I purchased 5 and they are lined up beautifully on my stainless steel shelving unit.They are easily put together, cleaned and used my my five children.They look cohesive and pretty when they are filled with colorful cereal.Nonethess, the children ranging in ages from 2-11 find them accessible and use them often.They come with a small plastic covering that is right at the opening that helps in keeping the cereal fresh.I was worried about the larger cereal coming out, but the turner that pushes the contents out are thick and durable.I have had no trouble whatsoever.I would think that these are much more durable than the plastic alternatives.If you have the opportunity I would think that these are the better choice.I really have nothing negative to say about the dispenser.I would highly recommend it.

Review of 4 Inch Wall Bracket

Overall, this was an expensive purchase, but it is exactly what I needed to hang pots in my small kitchen.It is very sturdy, and having the brackets makes it possible to align the rack and the brackets, so that I can have the brackets secured in studs in the wall.If I purchased a wall unit that has fixed screw holes for the wall, my pot rack would not be securely attached and would, therefore, not be sturdy enough to accomodate any heavy pots, and possibly might come loose from the wall.I highly recommend this item. No other company but enclume seems to have anything that comes close to this degree of quality.This item is so durable, it will probalby last for years.

This is exactly what I was looking for - a solid, heavy, stable rack for my pots that was exactly the right size for the space.This is an industrial strength and made product - there are places where the steel is welded together that might send some to the therapist if they were not interested in having the added strength that these welds provide.This is a seriously heavy pot rack - and there is no way it should be installed unless into the joists of the kitchen - read the manual carefully.Once installed properly, this is very stable.The grid and hooks that are enclosed are seriously strong, and stay in place when pans are removed from the rack.The simple reason I got this from Amazon was the price.The only complaint was that delivery required a signature, UPS left a note on Tuesday saying they would be returning wednesday between 2 and 6 PM.Circumstances changed and someone was home all the next day - yes, UPS showed up at 10 AM - I would have missed it and been down to my third delivery chance before the thing was returned to sender - next time use FedEx if you can...

These are very nice hooks. They don't work for me. But it's because I have very special measurements. My pot holder rack was custom made. I haven't returned these yet as I want to ask my contractor if the narrow end can be slightly pulled apart.
These are not your flimsy hooks you buy at department stores.

If you're reading this, you're one of the dwindling number of people who actually want to lard meat. Get this needle. The design allows you to push the needle and the attached strip of lard all the way through the meat. I have not tried the kind that have wooden handles at the back, but being able to just pull the whole unit through was so easy that it seems like it must be better than the sort of modified "push" you would have to use with the handled type.

We love our new pot rack...We had been looking for a small, unobtrusive rack to hang in our kitchen, which has 8 foot ceilings.This rack is simple, very stylish and sturdy as all get-out!The hardware is very strong and yet it isn't overly industrial-looking.We decided to center it over our Boos-block (which is 18"x24") and it looks fantastic and still allows traffic through our galley-type kitchen without being obtrusive.I highly recommend!Since we bought ours, the price has gone up considerably...we got ours new from Amazon for nearly $70.On the Enclume website, the price was well over $200.A steal from Amazon!

Review of Farberware Classic Tiburon 2-1/2-Quart Whistling Stainless-Steel Teakettle

I've searched a long time for a decent teakettle.I actually drink a lot of tea, and have been through about 8 teakettles looking for one that I could love.I've found it! This teakettle has a cute little design (the flared bottom) that is also very practical. It covers more surface area, so it boils faster - and it really does.I've always hated the whistle on teapots, and usually find myself tripping over the cats on my way to grab the kettle off the stove because I couldn't handle the noise.This whistle is nice and gentle, it doesn't make me jump out of my skin, and my husband can sleep through it.I haven't experienced the diminished whistle mentioned in other reviews.The handle is comfortable from whichever position you grab it, and high enough so that you aren't burning yourself when you grab it, you can get the lid off easily, and since your hand isn't right over the spout, no danger of steam burns.

The only thing I would recommend is flipping the cover open before you pick up the kettle - it's slightly awkward until you get used to it.

When I was ready to buy a new teapot, I was prepared to spend a lot of money to finally get a decent one.I didn't need to - this economical find has everything I was looking for. I've actually purchased three - one for me, one for my sister-in-law, and one for my mother.We're all very happy!

Review of Metro Cookware 21 Piece Set, Stainless Steel

I ordered this cookware set because I like the look of it and price was right! In the picture it looks sturdy and made of heavy duty stainless steel...not so when I finally got it. Don't get me wrong, it does look nice and it's made of stainless steel - but the handles are hollow in the middle and get hot while cooking. I was surprised when I picked up the pan off the stove OUCH! HOT! I do like the larger and smaller sized frying pans and the steam holes on the lids add to the look and functionality. The handles on the serving utensils are also hollow inside so now I know that when I take them out of the dishwasher they need to be dried before putting away. Overall a good set, very functional, easy to store, easy to clean. I would suggest this set for anyone wanting to learn to cook or for a college dorm. It's nice but not for someone who truly enjoys cooking and it probably won't last a long time.

Review of Farberware Classic Stainless Steel 13-Piece Cookware Set

This company was bought out several years ago by a Far East company.The quality is not the same; the warranty is worthless; the 18/10 gauge steel is not truly 18/10 guage and the handles are made of cheap plastic.If one takes the time to look at the positive reviews, most of them are from people who have the original sets manufactured ten to twenty years ago.The company no longer exists, and its successor makes cheap knockoffs of the original.Do not waste your money
