The tripod was easy to assemble, although I recommend you put it together BEFORE you light the fire.The chain works great for hanging a coffee pot.The grill spins on the chain so you'll want something to hold the grill with when you turn your food, but the spinning can be an advantage since you can move the food over a hotter or cooler part of the fire to control cooking.

Review of Rome's #64 9 Inch x 13 Inch Basket Hamburger Grill Basket, Chrome Plated Steel

We had used one of these grill baskets for about 25 years and finally decided to get a new one.We couldn't find one in the local stores and were very happy to find it on Amazon.In fact, we bought two because we didn't want to be without one.Although, if it lasts 25 years, we may not get around to using the second one.:-)

It is simply great for grilling burgers.You don't end up with the burger falling apart and onto the fire.Easy to cook and flip up to 6 at one time.And foods don't usually stick to the chrome finish.Easy to clean.

My only complaint is with Amazon's packaging.They put it in a ridiculously large cardboard box - very wasteful.

we've had this grill basket for about 4 years, and we use it on every camping trip.It's great for chicken, steaks, pork chops, burgers, toast, you name, it's cookable in this basket!!!It has now seen better days, and time for a new one as it has fallen apart.But we are not too delicate with our camping cooking tools!
