Review of Cameron Cookware Chicken Beer Roaster

This beer roaster is amazing. We have a $100 rotisserie that we rarely used because it takes up a lot of counter space and it's too hard to clean. This simple device has replaced that clunky inconvenient machine. Now we're cooking a big chicken dinner every weekend.

The first time we used the Beer Roaster, we tried a bland Miller Genuine Draft beer. The chicken came out moist, but flavorless. After some trial and error, we found a perfect recipe.

We pick a beer with lots of flavor. Our current preference is a dark Sam Adams brew like Black Lager or Brown Ale.We then add in a big spoonful of honey.Make sure you rinse off the chicken and pat it dry inside and out with paper towels. We then apply a dry rub to the outside of the chicken (any good rub you pick-up at the grocery store should be fine).A 6-pound chicken cooks for about 2 hours at 375 degrees.Once it's done cooking, let it sit for about 10 minutes so the juices can settle down.

Everyone raves about the flavor. There's never any leftovers. It's so much better than those lousy pre-cooked chickens at the grocery. The Beer Roaster is the best kitchen gadget we've ever bought.

Product Description
Never serve dry chicken again. The Camerons Chicken Roaster easily boasts a full-size chicken to succulent perfection. Just pour your favorite beer, marinade or fruit juice into the canister, lower a chicken over the top, place on a cookie sheet and pop it in your oven or on the grill. As the hot liquid permeates the meat, excess fat drips down the canister into the pan, resulting in an incredibly juicy, flavorful and low-fat bird. Easy-clean stainless steel. Imported. 5Hx6Wx6L".

Review of Cameron Cookware Stovetop Smoker with Recipe Collection

When I received my Cameron Stovetop Smoker, I rinsed it off and got
busy smoking a 9 pound Texas brisket.I followed directions and use hickory dust.It was rubbed with Pappy's rub.I smoked it for
one and a half hours and then, without switching pans but removing the lid, I roasted it for another three hours at 275 degrees. It turned out to be the brisket I remembered my mother making when I was a child except it was even better and had that smokey flavor.
Since, I have smoked whole chicken, whole trout, Alaskan cod and sturgeon. What a treat! It lets out small wisks of smoke, just enough to give my apartment a wonderful scent. If you follow directions, you will not be disappointed.

Review of Cameron Cookware Alder and Cedar Grilling Planks, Set of 4

My order arrived in record time and I was really looking forward to my FIRST plank cooked meal! I used an alderwood plank, followed the instructions with the plank and cooked 2 Talipia filets and a Swordfish filet. OH MY GOD! They were to die for! Great flavor, moist, and cooked to perfection. We will never cook fish any other way again! Since than, I've cooked beef, pork and other types of fish using both the cedar and alder planks and everything has come out absolutely outstanding. What make this a great value is you get both cedar and alder wood planks for a variety of flavors with different types of foods. I love the milder alderwood with fish but the cedar goes great with salmon and ribs. So play around with each type to suit your own taste but DO TRY PLANK COOKED FOODS! You'll never go back to plain old BBQ foods again! Great buy and one I will be repeating over and over again as we go through BBQ season (which is all year here in San Diego)!

Product Description
Combo Grilling Planks 2 Cedar and2 Alder. The planks allow seafood, meat, chicken and vegetables to roast slowly, basting in their own juices, creating a subtle smoky flavor. No fat or oil should be added, as the moisture from the plank keeps your food juicy and flavorful with no nutrient loss.

Review of Cameron Cookware Gourmet Mini Smoker

I purchased the regular size unit (11x15x3) new, about 2 years ago locally for the price of
$35.oo, the regular unit does a very good job - the smaller (11x7x3) will work just as well.
I feel that the price of $29.95 is a little high, if it wasn't for free shipping, i would have
passed it by. I feel that both units should be 5 inches high for use with thicker pieces
of meat, that way you needn't use a foil balloon top to replace the cover.Other items of
interest - - You can buy a large bag of shredded wood chips for about $2.oo locally.
If the smoker top releases to much smoke it can be carefully warped (see instructions )
to lessen the amount of smoke released. To insure that most of the smoke goes up
your kitchen range hood, place a sheet-pan or plywood on top of your stove burners
(Burners Off !) on top of this place a One burner electric Hot Plate set to medium heat,
on top of this place your smoker ! - smoke for 15 to 20 minutes - finish your product in
the oven if necessary. To make cleanup easier (charred wood residue) use foil, 2 pieces
6x6 inches - press one into the ridges on the bottom of the smoker pan, them add the
shredded wood chips into the ridges, then just lay the second piece on top of the chips.
then assemble as per the instructions.
You have to learn by doing - try - try again till you get it perfect

Review of Cameron Cookware Chile Roasta

I saw a similar product in the Williams-Sonoma catalog but had trouble justifying the $50 price tag. This version is less than half the cost and accomplishes the same task.

Looking for some new food to grill?Use this chile holder on the grill and stuff the peppers with anything and everything -- cheddar cheese with crumbled cooked bacon, cream cheese with cooked chorizo bits, jack cheese with garlic and teaspoon of salsa -- fill the chile with egg, onion and cheese. Endless possibilities. The chile holder also works well in the oven.

A unique gift for a chile lover or grill master. Anyone with the slightest interest in the product won't be disappointed in the purchase.

Product Description
Rack to be used on the grill or in the oven. Holds up to a dozen chilies that can be stuffed then roasted for a delicious snack or appetizer.

Review of Cameron Cookware Stainless Steel Stovetop Smoker

I just tried my stovetop smoker and was amazed at the results.I've used a large outdoor smoker for years, and was skeptical about the stovetop smoker.I used it to prepare chicken breasts, and they cooked fast and were juicy and tender, and had just the right amount of smoke flavor. I'm looking forward to using my stovetop smoker for seafood and vegetables. It's a great way to add flavor to food, and a very healthy way to cook.

The smoker is constructed from heavy steel and is well made.I could smell the smoke as the food cooked, but it wasn't intense and there was no smoke in the house.I'll still use my outdoor smoker for batch cooking or for smoking large birds, but expect to get a lot of use out of the stovetop smoker.
