This is a perfect way to spruce up plain old corn bread, by making it look like perfect ears of corn!My kids love it and it looks very nice when serving guests.I have one that was passed down to me and I am ordering this pre-seasoned one also because one pan is never enough!I wish they offered a pan that cooked more at one time.This is a great investment and works better than products that cost three times as much.

Review of Nordic Ware 3 Piece Baker's Quarter Sheet and Cake Pan Combo Pack with Lid

In my twenties I bought no less than three non-stick cookie sheets while my Grandmother (an avid baker) was still using her aluminum bakeware from the 40's. I later inherited a few of her aluminum pans and I couldn't believe the difference. My cookies were no longer crispy and brown on the outside and soft in the middle...they were baked evenly. I was also able to scub the sheet and place it in the dishwasher, something you can't do with non-stick varieties. Additionally, there is no danger of having teflon flake into your baked goods. Platinum Collection. This is the finest quality Nordic ware pan they make, and fits small toaster type ovens, too. (9 inch diameter.) Pan sections take only 1/4 cup batter, NOT 1/2 cup as stated on Amazon! TINY cakes, tho, so you might want to take advantage of the "buy 4 get one free" on this item on Amazon. (4 pans easily fit in a regular oven for baking all at once.) Delightful presentation cakes that impress everyone. We spray the pan, tho its nonstick, and cleanup is a snap - with a soapy brush and hot water - then we set them in the warm oven to dry. Food release spray (PAM) works, but is not recommended for non stick surfaces because it can make the coating bubble and peel.

Review of Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Drop Biscuit Pan

I'm having so much fun with this pan! Makes melt in the mouth drop biscuits--I use the recipe for buttermilk drop biscuits in the "Cast Iron for Dummies" cookbook--that are just as pretty and fluffy as rolled biscuits. Just don't forget to preheat the pan! I've turned out excellent "spoon" yeast rolls in this pan too, and it works great for baking individual pineapple upside down cakes. I use cast iron for nearly all my cooking and this pan is a welcome addition to my kitchen.

Review of Lodge Logic Pre-Seasoned Perch Muffin/Cornbread Pan

I've got the non pre-seasoned pans and I seasoned them according to the instructions. The key I've found it to preheat the oven and put the empty pans in at the same time. When the oven is at the right temperature, pull the pans out, and dribble a little oil (I use light olive) into each fish, take a paper towel and rub the inside completely then spoon/pour in the batter. Then they pop out perfectly every time.

The design is cute, but as with any sort of bread thing, the pattern shows through but not perfectly. Still fun to use. Two pans will handle a regular batch of muffin batter from my Joy of Cooking. (I like buttermilk c/ bananaswalnuts, or blueberry, or craisn's or apples as well as the cornbread recipe that lodge sends with the pans.
