Review of Le Creuset Large Utensil Crock, Black Onyx

This utensil crock is just the right size to hold a whole slug of your kitchen utensils that are taking up too much drawer space.It is about six inches in diameter around the top, so it may be larger than many utensil holders. I find the size to be just right:holds a reasonable amount and isn't too bulky on the counter.The outside is black and glossy (the picture makes it look as if it may have a matte finish, but that is not the case), and the inside is a light beige or sand color.Normally it is hard to find the black Le Creuset as many of the black items are exclusive to Bloomingdales.The works for both tall and medium length utensils.

Le Creuset's colorful porcelain enamel finish on the crock resists scratching, chipping, staining, and cracking, and gradates from a darker hue at the bottom to a lighter hue at the top.
