Review of Calphalon Twill Thumb Mitt

This is an effective and high-quality oven mitt, but it's definitely not one-size fits all. I don't have small hands, and this is way too big for me. There's an inch or so of space at the top of the mitt, and it feels like my hand's swimming around in it. It makes it very hard to do any delicate gripping. My wife's hands are fairly small, and these don't work well at all for her.

Also, and this is entirely my fault for not reading more carefully, but it's worth reminding that this is only ONE mitt. I'd assumed it would be a pair.

Heavy weight, 100% cotton twill. Stain resistant treated fabric. Silicone treated allowing for a better grip on hot cookware. Silicone is heat resistant up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Silicone treated on both sides allowing for use for both right handed and left handed consumers. Hang loop for easy storage. Embroidered Calphalon logo.
