I got this rolling pin because my previous wooden pin was not heavy enough to roll out pastry without a great deal of effort.(I recently started baking again, after a gap of several years.)This one works much better, and it rolls easily with good-quality bearings.You shouldn't expect it to be lightweight, but that's not what I was looking for.Product Description
