I like this dish so much I bought a second one.It is a beautiful dish in which to serve salads and other things.And of course it works very well as a baking dish.It has a stylish Asian flair that will never go out of style.

The Pillivuyt Quartet 10-inch square tart dish is the perfect dish for roasted vegetables, quiche or your favorite fruit or savory tart. The Quartet look is based on a dish towel that was popular in the Berry region of France at the turn of the last century; the design has a pleasing rumpled look. The rustic lines of this 100 year old pattern are maintained in Pillivuyt's Quartet collection which includes plates in five sizes, rimmed and un-rimmed bowls in four sizes, platters in three sizes, roasters in three sizes and many other pieces. The walls of these dishes, as in all Pillivuyt items, are created with a perfectly uniform thickness for exceptionally even and efficient heat conduction. This produces a beautiful browned crust that will slide easily out of the pan when you are ready to serve it. Pillivuyt porcelain is fired at 2550-degree Fahrenheit, so you can safely put any dish under the broiler for that final browning or finishing touch.
