Wanted a pot of this size for boiling pasta that was also non-stick and dishwasher safe. My heavier (& much more expensive) stainless steel and anodized aluminum pots are saved for the real cooking. This is not very thick, and probably would not have the even heat distribution and lack of hot spots of the more expensive cookware. Still. it's perfect for what I wanted.Product Description
