well made aluminum pressure cooker and very reasonably priced too. It's working out great so far!
As I rapidly roar toward middle-age, I have not been paying as much attention to my diet as I should. Then on my forty-something birthday, my friend gave me this Presto 05100 PowerCrisp Microwave Bacon Cooker. It was one of the best gifts I've ever received. Besides removing unhealthy grease and fat from my bacon, it actually is neater and more convenient than using a frying pan. But health, convenience and neatness be darned! The bacon tastes great! This is a great product.
This steamer is not of the same quality as the USA manufactured All-Clad cookware. It is lighter in weight and the handles and lid are not as nicely constructed. You are mistaken if you think you are getting the real deal with this item! I am sending it back. The consumer ought to know what he/she is getting!
This is the perfect pan for making single-skillet meals.Unlike conventional shallow pans this one is deep enough to hold food for four people.Scramble eggs for the whole family!Basically it's a modern replacement for a wok -- lots of capacity without the carcinogen risk of high-heat cooking. The only downside? There's no lid.I can make do with the lid from my 20-quart lobster-cooking pot, but it's not an exact fit.I'd gladly pay a couple extra bucks for a matching lid.
Farberware seems to have hit the sweet spot in trading off sturdiness and economy.I've dropped this once or twice onto my kitchen floor and the bootom is still flat. The non-stick coating is still non-sticking.Yes, you can get better-quality skillets, but not for near this price.
Highly recommended.
Product Description
Every kitchen should have at least a couple of skillets in different sizes for preparing eggs, fish, meat, and poultry. The benefits of non-stick include easy food release and clean up as well as requiring no extra fat for cooking.

This knife is a perfect little paring knife. It works well for larger veggies like beefsteak tomatoes and such.It also cuts cheese well in a pinch because of the hollow ground divots.I have generally given up on using my standard 3inch paring knife at this point and I use this knife exclusively for small jobs.
This bamboo steamer is just the right size if you like to steam large quantities of food. I had a 10 inch steamer for many years and it finally wore out. I decided to get the next size and I'm happy I did.
This is a heavy, quality server. I use it often as a covered skillet without the serving cradle and love it. Since it is stainless, it works well on my ceramic top range. (By the way, my friend used an aluminum skillet on her range top and it melted to the ceramic. When she tried to remove it, the ceramic cracked!)
when I received this item, the handle was broken so I had to send it back. However, that's not the reason why I gave only 3 starts. It is a lot smaller than I thought and also the color(Kiwi) is different than my other Le Crueset Kiwi. I think after they started to manufacture Le Crueset in Thailand, they can't get the color right. I ordered couple more items with this one and they're all made in Thailand and they all have same colors. Disappointed on color and size. If you don't mind having a small dish and pay $29.99 then go-ahead. I personally think that it was over priced.
I love my Lodge Enamel Dutch Ovens, I have the 6 quart and the 3 quart. The 6 quart is the perfect size for families. I had a 5 quart pot and it wasn't quite big enough for us when we made big pots of chili, etc. One more quart in size doesn't sound like a lot but it is. You can fix a full 5 quarts of food and still have plenty of room to stir and simmer.
This pot replaced our old Circulon pot that was almost 20 years old. This pot is definitely a step up from the regular Circulon line. It's much more heavy duty and the lid is really great and tight fitting. The non-stick coating seems very tough and the whole pot is very well made.
I loved this product, it looks just like the photo, and is very nice quality.I was unhappy that I had to return it.I had selected it for a very specific space in my home, and discovered that this rack should be be installed onto the wall studs. The space I had in mind did not have studs in the right places to make this item workable for me.I advise measuring carefully and locating wall studs before ordering.I rated it 4 out of 5 stars because I feel that this necessary information should have been stated by the manufacturer on Amazon.
The thing about this Staub cookware that you might like best is no matter what you paid for it, you won't be disappointed-because in the end it works to perfection and looks beautiful. Being a fairly habitual bargain hunter I am always looking to save on what I buy. These coq au vin/dutch oven/french oven pieces that I cook with work so well that even if I didn't get the perfect bargain, I know that they are worth what I paid for them each time I make something with them. Easy and the food flavors are enhanced in the process. Try one. Get a roast, throw in some veggies and your favorite seasonings, put it in the oven or on the stovetop, turn it on low...a couple hours later you have some good grub. Cleans up almost like nonstick without having to worry about eating the nonstick at some time. I like the beauty of these in the kitchen, too. The colors are not overwhelming, just cheery and are in graduated shades-a nice added touch to cast iron oven perfection. I like the 5-litre size for my personal small family use. You will love using these ovens-I still talk to my rooster. So, read about all the options, find a great bargain... get one, season it ... and USE IT- a lot. My highest recommendation goes for Staub.
I got this knife as a surprise gift for one reason and one reason only, and that was to cut corn. If you havent ever needed to do this, then you dont know that cutting corn efficiently, or without a LOT of pain is tough to do using traditional cutlery.
This is a wonderful fry, saute, pan.It is easily cleaned without any effort whatsoever. I would truly recommend it for all. The only drawback I found was that it was too heavy for my hand. The smaller size is perfect for me and that is what I kept.
Works great, cooks evenly and did not stick at all when removing from pan.cleanup was a breeze. A very pretty cake when done!
This little sauce pan is just right for a small gravy mix or a rue mix.
This set is beautiful! I was thrilled with the
This is a very nice espresso set. The first set I got in the mail, one of the cups was shattered. It was so cheap though, I just decided to order another one so I would have spare parts because it seemed like all the pieces were bound to break sooner than later. The second set came with a broken cup and saucer. I also got different colors than pictured but the ones I received I actually like better than the one on the website so it worked out!
I just love these cute little tart dishes, they are great for creme' Brulee. Very well made like all of Le Creuset stoneware.
This heavy weight grill wok is a plesure to use. Its non-stick surface makes it a breeze to clean after cooking. I use it to cook a medley of vegetables on my gas fired grill. Cooking over low heat and stiring every 5 to 10 minutes results in grilled vegetables in about 45 minutes. The wok shape makes it easy to stir and turn the vegetables with a non-metalic spatula.
This is a great griddle!!! It is easy to clean and is heavy enough to take on a barrage of pancakes. EXCELLENT!!
My pots and pans had worn out. I needed to replace some. So I looked online and Amazon.com had the best for the least amount of money.
The Tom Douglas grill pan is wonderful for grilling small items together on the grill. You can cut up veggies, place them in the pan and they are done in less than five minutes. The dish my guests liked best made in this pan was shrimp and summer vegtables grilled together and then served over pasta. No more making little shish ka bobs which is time consuming. Just add shrimp and vegetables in a bowl with a little olive oil and then toss into stainless grill pan and you are finished making entire dish in under 10 minutes. The pan is very sturdy and well made. The cover that fastens securely lets you toss contents of pan as much as you would like.It is a pan that will inspire you to become creative. As luck would have it, my stovetop failed just before I received the pan. The Pinzon 2 piece stainless grill top frying pan with removable lid was a life saver while I was in process of replacing the stove. I used it to grill some fruit to mix with yogurt and granola for breakfast, yummy!
I saw these in person at a manufacturer's outlet store and as a berry fan, I simply HAD to have them. They are very cleverly designed - the lids fit snugly and don't wobble, thanks to a little notch in the cover and a matching one in the bottom piece. As you can see from the photo, the lids all have handles for easy unveiling of your culinary masterpiece inside.
This is the largest crock for Utensils I could find. The measurement was about 7" x 7".It holds ALL my utensils, and has a great deal more room for others.
The 12 quart stock pot is the big brother to the 6 quart Master Chef 2 stock pot I got a few months ago to replace both a 5 quart teflon lined pot and my 8 quart Le Creuset Dutch oven. The 6 quart stainless steel lined aluminum body fit the bill perfectly, so I had great hopes for its big brother. And, the 12 quart has come through with flying colors.
This skillet is one of the very best I have ever used. It is very easy to clean, not to heavy and the silicone handle really helps.I would highly recommend it.
Great for portion control.Great for roasted potatoes.Lodge has made a superior product.Love cooking with cast iron and many of the cast iron items are bigger than I need at this point in my life. Thanks Lodge for the mini series.
Carefully packaged. No damage, fast delivery. The pot is very diverse. The cooking quality is excellent with very easy clean up.Of couse it is heavy as cast iron is.I have used it on top of the stove in the oven and table top.The lid seals well to the pot.I now have 5 Cuisinart pots I can not see any difference in the high price "Le C".
I collect these pans. And just like the rest of the Nordicware Platinum Bakeware this pan produces great results. To get the detail on the Princess Palace towers I used a pastry bag to pipe the batter into the small cavities. I used a Pumpkin Bread recipe baked at 350 drgrees for 35 minutes.PERFECT!
This is a loaf pan with heft. The thick walls seem to perform as advertised, retaining heat and baking contents evenly.I've used the pan to bake bread and salmon loaf; both turned out well. Also, the pan cleans up easily
Wish I had this years ago. This pot is super. Like all cast iron cookware, it is hard to burn something (if you use medium or low heat) because the heat dissipates so evenly, it imparts a great flavor, is easy to clean, and keeps food warm long after removing from the heat.
This pan warps at temperatures above 450 degrees and the anondized finish has begun to peel off after less than ten uses.
I wanted to cook meat without having to put in under the broiler and turn my kitchen into a sauna when the air-conditiong isn't on.This pan weighs a ton, but it's easy to use, seals in the juices and cooks so fast you barely have time to blink--no exaggeration.I put in a t-bone steak and it was well-done in about 20min.Yes it's an expensive pan, but it comes with a warranty and German quality and all that that implies!!
I would have given 5 stars except for two small issues
All-Clad Stainless Fork
Cast iron cookware is loved by many for its particular thermal properties. Its heavy material conducts heat very evenly, and browns food particularly well. However, not everyone is thrilled by the need to "season" cast iron. Lodge attempts to solve this particular problem by producing a line of enamel-coated cookware. One such piece is the three-quart apple-shaped pot/Dutch oven.
We followed the simple directions, filled with ice and our martini ingredients. Someone has a sense of humor as when you push the on/off button to turn the machine on the green olive on the martini graphic (just above the switch) lights up. It works well in either shaken or stirred mode.Obviously this was the shaken mode on the video. We found it to be a wonderful and amusing device. Unlike some earlier incarnations and attempts at a automatic cocktail shaker this one actually works well. The ultimate toy for the lazy bartender. While we strongly suggest Gary Regan's Cocktails in the Country to learn proper manual, old fashioned (and fun) bartending, this is a great machine for those who can't or don't want to shake or stir their cocktails themselves.Would suggest the following books to go with it:diffordsguide to Cocktails 7 (Diffords Guide) (Diffords Guide)A marvelous, encyclopedic cocktail book ,and/or How's Your Drink?: Cocktails, Culture, and the Art of Drinking Wellanother great cocktail book with history and stories for each drink (something to read while the machine is running) and/orImbibe!: From Absinthe Cocktail to Whiskey Smash, a Salute in Stories and Drinks to "Professor" Jerry Thomas, Pioneer of the American Bar Featuring the Originawhich is a fascinating biography of the world famous "Professor" Jerry Thomas the bartender and bon vivant who published the first cocktail book with recipes updated from the original.
My 12-year-old son was very pleased with his New York Yankee Fathead Logo he received for Christmas.I was pleased that it was delivered before Christmas when I was promised an after Christmas date! The logos were extremely easy to put up as well. The only drawback was the price.Fatheads had a buy 1/get 1 but I only needed one!I shopped around and found Amazon to be the cheapest-even though I still felt it was bit pricey!
I have used FoldTuk, Progressive and Rubbermaid collapsible products for about two years and love all of them. They don't leak, they hold up well in the dishwasher and they consume WAY less shelf space.
I actually own the entire red set that includes chopping block and steel. It's attractive and the quality is commensurate with the price. They're not professional knives, but they are very sturdy, pretty well balanced - and sharp - I got a nasty deep cut slicing a pineapple and didn't even feel it at first. They slice, dice and peel fine.I bought the set for a kosher kitchen to use as "meat" knives. You should also invest in a knife sharpener, as the knives do lose their edge, but sharpen up quickly. Take the washing instructions seriously and wash them by hand: the stainless blades survive the dishwasher fine, but the veneer on the surface of the handle of the 4" knife has started to crack and drop off.
I love this pan and use it all the time.I make eggs or a frittata for 1-2 people, hot sandwiches, small quantities of sauce and can even blanch small amounts of vegetables in it.I have both this and the 10 inch pan and for a 2 person home I use this 8 inch pan most often. If you have a larger home then the 10 inch would probably be more handy.
Anolon 'Advanced' is the much higher quality, and, for some quirky reason, is priced $15 less than the Calphalon!I pan-grilled some filet mignon steaks (am savoring them now) and was impressed at the signature 'sear marks'.Cleanup is a breeze and reviewers should note that the Anolon 'Advanced' line has not been plagued with the shedding of the non-stick coating (as both the 'Commercial' and 'Simply Calphalon' lines have been).
No need to buy All Clad.J.A. Henckels is just as good and half the price. The cookware is excellent.I like it better than the All Clad I have.I have bought a whole set, plus extras. Can't go wrong with this purchase.
This is a good nonstick skillet and it's great that it's dishwasher safe. The only thing I would change is I'd make the skillet sides a little lower. When I slide eggs out, they tend to roll and flip. When I use my other skillets with lower sides, I don't have that problem.Overall, I am very satisfied with it.
Although this is not made in the USA, it is a good pan. The iron graining is larger than the older one I have, but it works. I use it on the grill and for upside-down cakes. It's an item that will give you years of service. It doesn't seem to take the seasoning as well as my old one, but I hope it improves with age. It seems smaller than my old one of the same supposed size, but not by much. All in all, it's a good value.
I bought these pans after using a lot of inferior ones. These clean very easily and are holding up great!
I've had this cookware for about one year now. The bottoms of the pans are nice and thik and trasmit the heat very quicky but the sides of the pans are thin. The have held up very well over the year and clean up nicly and still shine like new. Good buy for the price.
You need to know: there is a problem with the glass domes. The glass dome screws into the metal lid, and the glass screw threads break off on their own from the heat. Ive gone through 3 domes now. It wasnt uncommon to find shards of glass on top of the filter basket.
If you love churros, this is a wonderful tool for making them.Makes the whole process less messy and easier.
