This is a wonderful, well-built cast iron bell. I bought this to hang at my outside gate. We usually keep the gate locked because of our dogs, and not all our friends know how to unlock the gate...so now they can ring the bell when they arrive. The bell is loud, pleasant-sounding, and it was relatively easy to hang. It especially looks nice on our fence, as it matches the vintage Americana hardware we have. Unique cast iron dinner bell that is designed to be wall mounted. Bell and frame are in a verdigri finish, with a hand painted horse and carriage motiff. Measures 13 inches tall overal and will protrude about 7 inches. The bell is 4 inches wide at the base.
